Indiana's prisons are hellish nightmares. Many of those incarcerated should be set free and real systems of reform such as restorative justice need to be developed and implemented. 20% of Indiana's 27,000 prison population are in for drug charges - shameful!

End government oppression

We must build out renewables and retire fossil coal and gas plants as quickly as possible to avoid the most harmful impacts of climate change. Benton County is a model to follow!

Teachers should make double what they do. Private and charter schools must stop stealing funds from public school since wealthy families don't need the help. The supermajority touting a budget surplus is even more insulting. Give that to teachers!

Housing is a human right

Working class issues are hardly heard in the Indiana State House because only bills that Republicans are in favor of ever get a shot. We need more diversity in the legislature to fight for working class Hoosiers.
